Art in the Afternoon | Thia Rolfes
December 17, 2017 @ 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
Thia Rolfes makes wooden toys that move by turning a crank. The whimsical characters are usually musicians that play a variety of instruments. Now, that she has retired from teaching elementary Spanish at College Community School District she has more time to create her fanciful folk art.
ART IN THE AFTERNOON is a monthly artist talk / workshop held on the 3rd Sunday of each month. This series focuses on introducing local artists to the Iowa City community.
