His paintings rely on a technical and traditional foundation while introducing different degrees of abstraction to explore subjective experiences and consciousness.

The ArtiFactory 120 N. Dubuque St., Iowa City, IowaDeanne Wortman became very interested in, one might say addicted to, hot stamped foiling after her first workshop with Professor Virginia Myers. She became one of her studio assistants at 10 Acre Studios. Upon Professor Myers' retirement, Deanne began teaching her University of Iowa Foil Imaging classes.

Julia Lohrman Audlehelm is an artist who creates highly detailed pen & ink drawings on commission. Her Iowa roots are on display in many of these drawings. Growing up in Bettendorf, she received her B.A. from the University of Iowa, then lived in Des Moines for 25 years. Currently, she resides in North Liberty.
