Carlos Maldonado will lead a workshop where everyone will use the same reference photo and paint along with him. The supplies will be provided so that everyone is working with the same materials. Our palette will consist of primary cyan, primary magenta, primary yellow, van dyke brown, and titanium white. Carlos will demonstrate color mixing and discuss composition so your finished painting will stand out.
Carlos Maldonado, is an artist from Iowa City, Iowa. His artistic journey has been defined by a dedication to plein air painting, primarily utilizing acrylic and gouache. With over two decades of artistic experience. He embarked on a full-time painting career in 2019. When he is not painting en plein air, he works from his home studio.
